This time of year I often remember the picture book about Frederick, the mouse that stores up bright colors for winter. It is in this spirit that I share this mandala that I created earlier this fall. To me it invokes, the playful energy of summer – bright flowers vying for attention in a sea of color, clouds dancing across the sky’s blue stage.
When I am at art fairs I have a work in progress on hand so fair-goers can watch me at work to see how I create I my art. For anyone who attended the Mount Horeb Fall Heritage Festival, you might recognize this mandala.
