Making a Difference

Be a light in dark places

The other night I was sitting on the living room sofa, when my 16-year-old entered the room. She handed me a piece of paper (shown here) and proudly announced, “It’s a ‘mommie drawing’.” What a proud parent moment!

I love her drawing and I love her message. And I love that she included an owl because she knows I love birds.

We don’t always know how or if we are going to make a difference in someone’s life. The truth is that we are constantly impacting those around us, making choices and setting examples that either lead people to want to emulate us or steer clear of how we lead our life.

What difference do your choices make?
